Handcrafted Instruments since 2012!

    FAQS

Shipping and Stock?. We endeavor to have most items in stock and ready to ship, but as a small cottage industry that does small batch building of a few dozen different types of percussion instruments, there may be a little lead time on some orders. Contact us with specific questions.

Shipping lead times are based on location, stock, and custom orders.

For national shipping we use UPS, USPS, and FedEx, and Spee-Dee Delivery in the Midwest.

Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders will require pre-quote on shipping costs.

    Typical Shipping:

    3-7 days if in stock

2 weeks if out of stock

    2-3 weeks for special orders

    Woods, Sources, and Colors?

The sources for our solid reclaimed wood vary from curbside finds of furniture and wood, leftover project material, thrift shops items, storm toppled trees, and customer commissioned repurposed pieces.

On in-stock instruments, the reclaimed wood type and stain colors will vary. Custom colors, wood types, as well as matched wood drum pairs, trios, and quartets can be built with extra lead time.

All dimensions are approximate and can vary. Please contact us with questions about current stock wood and color. thedrummingdrawer@gmail.com

Custom Builds, Art Work,  Groups, and New Product Ideas?

We have done and can offer some custom builds, colors, modifications, and art. For organizations and educators, we have also done group builds and interactives. The scope, pricing, and timeline of these is done on an individual basis.

Throughout our own entrepreneurial history, we have enjoyed receiving new instrument ideas, new modifications to our existing products, and other creative hand percussion possibilities. Some of what we offer has been inspired by and drawn from these.  Reach out to us.
